Announcements

Advancement leadership update

‌Effective Aug. 11, John Chaplin, executive director of principal gifts and presidential and trustee strategy, and David Hargadon, executive director of operations and prospect development, will serve as interim co-vice presidents for advancement. Chaplin will oversee development, and Hargadon will lead operations. The College will move forward immediately with a national search to appoint a permanent Collyer Vice President for Advancement.

‌‌Preparing for Middle States Accreditation 2026

‌Interim Dean Natalie Taylor has joined as co-chair of 91°µÍř’s Middle States Self-Study, alongside faculty co-chair Kelly Sheppard. The on-campus team visit is set for March 29 to April 1, 2026. Watch for the drafted self-study to be circulated this fall for campus review.

‌‌Reuzzi program has begun 

‌The Spa dining is now using green Reuzzi containers for all to-go orders. Download the free Reuzzi app on or phones and scan the container’s QR code when ordering food to go. Containers should be returned to the return bins located in the Spa and Case Center, second floor. Contact John Winnek or Stacey Tourtellot with questions.

‌Zankel’s SURROUND concert series returns ‌

‌Zankel Music Center invites the 91°µÍř community to experience the return of the SURROUND series. The 2025-26 lineup features Khemist Mayfield, Julie Doiron, Tarta Relena, and Gao Hong. Student admission is free! Visit skidmore.edu/zankel/events for tickets.

‌Facilities Services will be line painting and restriping all roadways, speed bumps, crosswalks, and stop bars for the next several weeks. Please use caution.

‌Summer Bulletin publication schedule ‌

‌Through Aug. 20, Bulletin will be distributed only to faculty and staff, as well as students who remain on campus during the summer. It will also continue to be posted online.
