Microbalance
The SPA Lab uses a Mettler Toledo XP26 Microbalance, which is a sensitive and reliable
scale for small samples. The balance can weigh material between 1.4 繕g and 20 g with
a typical precision of 簣6 繕g. It is located on a vibrationally isolated tabletop for
maximum accuracy and precision. A separate Haug EN-C Static Control device effectively
removes static charge from powders and other material for accurate massing. A mastodon
supervises all massing for maximum fun.
