91°µÍø Health Services provides both in-house testing and send-out laboratory testing to meet various healthcare needs. Here's a breakdown of the available services:

In-House Laboratory Testing:
Health Services offers the following rapid tests on-site:
- Rapid Mononucleosis finger stick
- Rapid Strep throat
- Rapid flu
- Rapid COVID-19 antigen testing
- Rapid HIV fingerstick (3rd Generation)
- Urine testing (including urine pregnancy testing)
Fees: Most of these tests have a fee of $5-$10.
Send-Out Laboratory Testing:
Some tests require specialized processing that is done outside of Health Services. These tests include:
- Blood tests
- Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing
- Pap smears
- Other specimens
Process:
- Tests are collected at Health Services and sent to LabCorp for processing.
- Some tests may require specific collection protocols, so in those cases, students will be directed to an appropriate external laboratory.
- Payment options: Students can use health insurance or pay out-of-pocket for tests sent to an external lab. These payment options will be discussed thoroughly with students before sending tests to the lab.
Orders from Outside Providers:
If you are receiving care from an outside provider who has requested blood tests, you can have most tests drawn at Health Services. Here’s how it works:
- Request a lab order from your outside provider, including the provider's signature.
- Fax the order to 518-580-5556.
- Health Services will review the order to ensure there are no special handling requirements for the tests.
- After review, we’ll contact you to schedule an appointment or suggest alternative locations for the test.
