91°µÍø Health Services provides various forms of gender-affirming care to support students. Here's a breakdown of available services and resources:

Laboratory Testing
- If your hormone treatment is managed by a provider outside of 91°µÍø Health Services, you can have lab work performed at Health Services.
- How to proceed:
- Ask your provider to fax the lab orders to 518-580-5556.
- Health Services will review the orders for any special handling requirements.
- You will be contacted to schedule an appointment or given alternatives for lab testing.
Assistance with Injections
- Self-injection guidance:
- Nurses at Health Services can assist students in learning how to self-administer hormone injections.
- Students can bring a friend or partner for support during the learning process. Many students feel confident with self-injection after 1-2 visits.
- Nurse-administered injections:
- If you would prefer the nurse to administer the injection, documentation from the prescribing provider must be provided in advance. This includes:
- Medication name
- Route of administration
- Dosage frequency
- Validity date of the medication order
- Last dose date
- Any lab work or other criteria
- Prescribing healthcare provider’s signature (required by NY State law)
Gender Inclusive Bathrooms
- All bathrooms within Health Services are gender inclusive.
- Additional gender-inclusive bathrooms can be found across campus.
